Spring on the Farm – Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th May
May 8 @ 10:00 am - May 9 @ 4:00 pm£3.75
We are delighted that Ridgeway Farm is able to open its doors to the public, in line with the governments “Road Map to Recovery”. As per the guidance we have been in touch with Council and they have confirmed that we will be able to open the farm grounds to members of the public. To adhere to the Road Map we have followed the Good To Go Industry Standard Mark and have put best practices in place to provide a ring of confidence for both ourselves, as a family working farm, and to our visitors.
Ridgeway farm will be open at weekends for the time being, with several sessions a day. Limited tickets will be released and everyone walking age upwards will need a ticket. Bookings will be compulsory and no more than 6 tickets per booking. Tickets are priced at the discounted rate of £3.75 as the Animal housing will be out of bounds and there will be no animal holding or demonstrations, but not to worry, the Farm Orchard is springing into life and we have been very busy over the winter months so we can’t wait to show you what we have been up to.
As well as the farms Traditional Orchard you will also be able to take a walk around the fields to see if you can spot a Mad March Hare or hear the unmistakable Cry of the Curlew and if you are really lucky you may even see the arrival of the long awaited Swallow! After your walk you can return to the Orchard and purchase some light refreshments if you so desire, perhaps a well deserved ice cream and brew whilst soaking up all the flora and fauna at Ridgeway Farm.
