Why choose Ridgeway Farm for your educational visit?

At Ridgeway Farm, we’re approved by Lancashire EVOLVE and actively encourage schools to link with the curriculum, particularly KS1 and KS2.

To help you make the most out of your time on the farm, we can tailor your visit around individual class topics, linking in with “Countryside Classroom”, “LEAF”, “Social Farms and Gardens” and the “NFU” educational resources.

We can explore a range of subjects, including Geography, Science and History, as well as topics such as field to fork farming, habitats, life cycles, weather, climate, environment, soils and land management, and STEM. The possibilities are endless, so you’re sure of an educational and inspirational experience at Ridgeway Farm!

All of our welcoming and knowledgeable farmers are DBS cleared, and we have all the necessary Public Liability insurance in place, so you’ll enjoy total peace of mind throughout your visit.
